Indonesian Caregivers for Elderly Care in Singapore

We Are Caring places trained Indonesian caregivers with Singapore families who care for an elderly parent at home. With two partners in Indonesia, Solve Employment! and Poricon, every caregiver is screened, completes a 24-module elderly-care training before she travels, and pays no placement fee. The programme is led by Sam Syahrul (EA personnel reg. no. R2095330).

What makes this programme different

  • Trained for elderly care. Before she travels, every caregiver completes 24 training modules in personal care, mobility and transfers, home hygiene and basic clinical care.
  • Screened honestly. Each candidate is checked for genuine caregiving experience, valid documents and suitability for live-in elderly care.
  • Fair from the start. Caregivers pay no placement fee and have no salary deduction, in Singapore or in Indonesia. A first-time caregiver earns at least S$800 a month, the minimum set by the Indonesian government in the official job order.
  • An official process. Every placement goes through a Ministry of Manpower (MOM) work permit and an endorsement by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore.
  • Support for the whole contract. We stay your point of contact throughout her employment, with a free replacement if her employment ends within 2 months.
