Moving from Singapore to Hong Kong with Your Helper
If your family is moving to Hong Kong with your Filipino helper, We Are Caring can start her Hong Kong paperwork while you are still in Singapore. Our subsidiary, We Are Caring Hong Kong Limited (EA licence 82091), prepares her contract and visa, and you sign at our Singapore office. It takes 6 to 8 weeks and costs HKD 9,500 in total, all fees included.

Why starting from Singapore makes a difference
We Are Caring works in both countries, so your helper's Hong Kong application does not have to wait until you arrive. Our Hong Kong office ships the documents to Singapore. You sign them at our office at 61 Killiney Road, near Somerset MRT, and the process starts before you have even moved, which is usually not possible.
How it works
- Talk to David Bensadon (EA personnel reg. no. R1552212), ideally two months before your move.
- Sign her Hong Kong employment contract in person at our Singapore office. It is prepared for the Hong Kong Labour Department.
- We register and verify her contract with the Philippines' Department of Migrant Workers in Hong Kong.
- We obtain her Hong Kong employment visa, so she can enter Hong Kong.
- She flies to Hong Kong from Singapore, or from Taiwan. Her Hong Kong e-Visa is activated when she clears immigration on arrival, and she then applies for her Hong Kong Identity Card.
- In Singapore, we cancel her work permit at the right time, at no charge.
The whole process takes 6 to 8 weeks.
What you will need
- Your Hong Kong address: it goes in her contract, with a copy of your tenancy agreement or another document showing your right to stay there.
- Your identity: preferably your HKID or your Hong Kong e-Visa; otherwise, your passport.
- Proof of income in Hong Kong: usually a letter from your company, following the template we give you.

FAQ
How much does it cost to relocate my helper to Hong Kong with We Are Caring?
HKD 9,500 in total, including HKD 230 in Hong Kong Labour Department fees. There are no other third-party costs and no charge on the Singapore side; you book and pay her flight.
Can we start before we move to Hong Kong?
Yes. You sign her Hong Kong contract at our Singapore office, so the process starts while you are still in Singapore.
How long does it take?
6 to 8 weeks. We recommend contacting us two months before your move.
Can my Indonesian helper relocate with us through We Are Caring?
Not at the moment. We Are Caring Hong Kong Limited is not yet accredited by the Indonesian authorities, so we cannot relocate Indonesian helpers from Singapore to Hong Kong. This service is for Filipino helpers only.
What if my helper goes home to the Philippines before starting in Hong Kong?
Then it is a hiring from the Philippines to Hong Kong rather than a relocation, and a different price applies. It is shown on our Hong Kong website.
Who handles the Hong Kong side?
Our subsidiary, We Are Caring Hong Kong Limited, which holds Hong Kong employment agency licence 82091. David Bensadon (EA personnel reg. no. R1552212), its director, handles each case himself.
