Before We Are Caring
Fion earned a Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP). There, she was President of the Executive Team of a club of over 800 members, and oversaw the planning of large formal and informal events. She first joined We Are Caring as an intern while studying for her Bachelor's degree, a double major in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, and Communications Management.
A moment she is proud of
Helping a family through the complex process of bringing their long-term helper, who was over the usual age limit, into Singapore, so that they could stay together and keep the reliable support they needed.
Outside work
Fion is dedicated to fitness, which builds the grit she relies on to keep reaching new milestones in whatever she pursues.
In her own words
This work matters deeply to me because it gives me a platform to educate others about the domestic helper sector, an industry few of my peers are involved in. I find genuine fulfilment in making sure that employers and helpers alike are fully informed of their rights, and empowered by them.
