To find a job with We Are Caring, download the Find Jobs app and apply for free. We interview you, check your documents and publish your profile. Families contact you in the app, and you can contact them too. When you accept a job offer, we do all the paperwork. You pay nothing, ever.
Step by step
- Download the Find Jobs app and apply for free. Add your documents, a short video and photos. When you sign up, you agree to show your current salary on your profile.
- If you work in Singapore now, ask your employer to sign the consent to your transfer online. It takes a few minutes. Consent to transfer
- We interview you and check your documents, including your work history. Then we publish your profile.
- Families contact you, and you can contact families, in the app. You arrange interviews in person or by video.
- Accept a job offer in the app. It shows the salary, your days off and any other conditions, so you know everything before you say yes.
- We do the paperwork. It is zero fee for you: you have nothing to pay. Your contract is in English and in your own language.
- We support you and your employer for as long as you work together.
Who can work in Singapore
To get a new work permit, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) asks that you:
- are 23 to under 50 years old
- have at least 8 years of school, with a certificate
- come from an approved country, such as the Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka or India
If you work in Singapore now
- Your current employer must sign a consent to your transfer, and give your release date.
- You usually keep working for them until your transfer date.
- If you need a place to stay between jobs, we have temporary lodging for helpers. Your employer pays, not you.
If you are in your home country
- Our partner agency in your country helps you with your documents and your medical check-up.
- They do not charge you anything. We pay them.
- If this is your first job in Singapore, you will join the Ministry's Settling-In Programme when you arrive. It is free for you.
