Community and Free Workshops for Helpers
At We Are Caring, helpers are part of a community. On Sundays, helpers of different nationalities meet at our office, celebrate together and make friends. About every two months, we run free workshops on topics that keep you safe, like avoiding illegal moneylenders and scams, and setting up Singpass. Every helper is welcome, whoever placed her.

With students from NUS College
Each year, a team of six NUS College students works with us to organise community events with helpers. A new team starts in October 2026.
Past course
In 2024, more than 250 helpers completed our free online course, Caregiving Basics for Migrant Domestic Workers. We ran it with Uplifters, supported by the DBS Foundation. The course has now ended.
